Avera is currently seeking a Physician Assistant looking to deliver the best possible care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.
Job Summary
The Physician Assistant is accountable for provision of health care, medical management and education of patients in collaboration with a physician.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program preferred.
Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations
- Required upon hire:
- State of Minnesota Physician Assistant license
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification through the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Federal and State Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
Work Schedule
- Day/Evening Shifts: 10:00am-10:30pm; PRN, varied shifts as needed
- Occasional weekend
- Occasional holiday
