PURPOSE OF POSITION
A tower technician installs, maintains, and repairs telecommunication systems on Access Point towers for broadband internet. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES? ? (?Include, but are not limited to…)
* Work directly with Network Manager and Administrator to plan builds and schedule maintenance.* Perform on-site company access point installations
* Correction and repair of company access point sites
* Research potential new sites and report findings to appropriate personnel
* Equipment troubleshooting & technical support for access points.
* Prepares and assembles necessary site equipment.
* Use computer systems for detailed record keeping and tracking, gather information, record interactions and/or troubleshooting for site issues
* Report any billable charges for tower-related work.
* Direct requests and escalate unresolved issues to designated resource.
* Keep company vehicles stocked with necessary equipment, inventory for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
* Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Power Limited Technician Licensing preferred.
- Telecommunications Degree preferred.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current and valid vehicle insurance.
