Children's Therapist: 
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience supporting individuals with a range of needs, including autism and developmental disabilities. This position involves creating a supportive environment and using evidence based practices to promote mental health and overall well-being.

Duties
Conduct diagnostic evaluations to understand client needs and create individualized treatment plans
Use applied behavior analysis techniques to help clients work toward their goals
Apply cognitive behavioral therapy methods to support effective management of thoughts and behaviors
Follow HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy
Implement behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors in a positive and constructive way
Use motivational interviewing to build engagement and support client motivation
Incorporate art therapy to encourage self-expression and emotional exploration

Qualifications
Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations
Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred
Solid understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes and therapeutic techniques
Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and ethical standards in therapeutic practice
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
