Loading Specialist

Key Work Duties and Required Skills:

1. Coordinate with other loading specialists, leads and dispatcher.
2. Move trailers with yard tractor to load or unloaded as needed.
3. Be familiar with finished products, ingredients and the MSDS book and where they are located.
4. Use forklifts and other equipment.
5. Set up bulk bag trucks for loading.
6. Clean out any trailers/trucks prior to loading.
7. Receive load sheets from lead/dispatcher and load trailer/truck.
8. Load trailer/truck accurately using first in/first out (FIFO) and recording all amounts and lot numbers shipped on the load sheets.
9. Receive incoming ingredients
10. Know the locations of ingredients and finished products in our warehouses.
11. Use staging area for up coming loads if time permits.
12. Load equipment needed (Pallet Jack/Hand Cart/Ramp/Load Locks).
13. Notify Quality Assurance if in doubt of any product.
14. Maintain the cleanliness of the area you work in.
15. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the needs of the company.
16. Follow all safety and quality control measures.

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school degree or the equivalent.
• Experience:  Experience in production and forklift experience is preferred. CDL preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Operation of company vehicles and forklift will be part of daily duties. A valid drivers license is required for this position. CDL preferred. 
• Competencies:  Ability to learn and use Microsoft Office applications, Ross ERP, Sterling Controls, Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Other skills required include problem-solving, strong oral and written communication, basic math skills, goal oriented, self-driven.
• Physical:  Physical requirements for this position include being able to life 50 lbs. and wearing appropriate Personal Protection Equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform key work duties.
• Location:  This position will work in the Ralco Distribution Center located in Marshall, MN.
