JOB SUMMARY:
As Associate IT Technician, you are charged with utilizing technology to solve computer and device issues, both software and hardware, to increase efficiencies of our end users. You must possess knowledge of computer internals, software operating systems (including Windows/X and iOS). You will work with end users to address issues in a timely matter as they encounter them.
You must possess diagnostic and problem-solving skills. You must also be open and approachable as you communicate effectively with local and remote users.

KEY WORK DUTIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
- Managing inventory of computers, tablets, printers and peripherals.
- Keep computers and devices maintained, both software and hardware.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Installing/configuring software according to the specifications.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring users from completing their work.
- Keep security of Ralco’s network and data in mind at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of problems, repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent experience as a technician.
Competencies: Able to work with people from multiple walks of life, having multiple different needs and levels of tech savviness
Physical: The following activities are required as needed to perform the job function: finger dexterity, look at computer screens for extended time, talk, hear, lifting, driving, bending, carrying 20 lbs, and twisting. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the key work duties.
Working Hours: Working hours for this position will follow Ralco’s official office hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Location: This position will be located in-office, at Ralco’s main headquarters in Marshall, MN
Travel: Local travel will be needed between multiple Marshall and Balaton locations. Occasional travel for meetings and training courses may be required.
