The ideal candidate will be hard working, reliable, and flexible. General knowledge of small and large animals and experience in customer service/retail is preferred but not required. This position will be part time, both helping customers on the sales floor and working in our boarding facility. Hours can be flexible, but would mostly be day time hours during the week, and will include 1-2 weekends a month doing part time hours (not all day Saturday/Sunday). The sales portion of the position includes but is not limited to receiving product, assisting customers, pricing, cleaning, re-stocking, and other daily tasks. The boarding facility portion involves daily chores – feeding, letting out, and playing/interacting with our pet boarders, and cleaning kennels and facilities. We are family owned and have strong family values, so we strive to be flexible to allow our employees to have time away from work when they need it. We are closed major holidays.
