Registered nurses and licensed practical nurses are critical in providing comfort, compassion and care to patients. Nurses like you are at the heart of our health ministry in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, patient homes or working behind the scenes to coordinate our best delivery of care.
- A registered nurse (RN) provides substantial care for patients while educating them on managing health. RNs oversee LPNs and CNAs. They have a wide scope of responsibilities that include creating nursing care plans, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests and providing treatments.
- Rural nurses have close ties to the communities they serve through every day interactions. Along with a passion for small-town living, their practice often gives them a good amount of autonomy and independence due to fewer patient numbers spread out over larger areas.
- A licensed practical nurse (LPN) works under the direction of an RN or doctor to assist in caring for patients. LPNs are the eyes and ears for physicians while collecting critical information to help build care plans. Some responsibilities include monitoring patient health, administering primary care and ensuring the comfort of patients while communicating clearly to them regarding their care.
Many of our nursing careers offer:
- Sign-on incentives
