Esports is Everchanging
Esports is expanding, and is quickly becoming one of the largest watched sporting events in the world!
Esports has an interesting advantage and disadvantage from other sports, it constantly has changes within each game coming in.
The games are subject to the developers whim which can cause issues but also gives Esports the ability to adjust to what is popular very quickly.
Spencer Louwagie grew up in Marshall Minnesota. He has been involved in Esports since his senior year in high school.
He has competed at a high level in League of Legends during his time in college, and developed SMSU's first Esports speceific club.
After graduation, Spencer accepted a postition at SMSU in the Information Technology (IT) department.
In 2019 Spencer took the role of Esports Head Coach of SMSU when they officially launced their Esports program.
We hope to see you there!
Thank you to the Sleep Inn and Southwest Initiative Foundation for sponsoring the 2022-2023
Marshall Area Young Professional events!
