•Robert Schwan Memorial Young Peopleʼs
Photography Exhibit and Competition
August 14, 2012 through September 21, 2012 at
MAFAC Arts Center
•Paint a Mural
Sounds of Summer Mural to be installed at festivities site!
Residents invited to paint a section of the mural depicting
sites of SOS activities. Make it an individual or family/group
project! Pick up square of board and paint at MAFAC to participate.
Return to MAFAC by August 14 in time for installation.
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 15…
•Blue Moon Revisited. Music by the “Siks”
4:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Adult Community Center.
BBQ plate, coffee & pop available. Everyone is
welcome! Sponsored by “One Voice for Seniors”
THURSDAY AUGUST 16…
ALL EVENTS AT SCHWAN PARKING LOTS,
BEHIND CALDOʼS (W. COLLEGE DR.)
UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
•Teen Dance - 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. Teen night at the Marshall
Area YMCA. Dance, Glow in the Dark Dodgeball, Pool Party.
FREE and open to all TEENS!
•Rib Fest - 5:00 p.m. Sponsored by Hitching Post &
Reinhart Foods. Ribs donated by Hitching Post. Only
350- tickets being sold. Tickets: $7 available at HyVee,
County Fair and the Marshall Chamber of Commerce
starting August 2nd.
