Description
SMSU Theatre presents a classic play, 'The Cherry Orchard' by Anton Chekhov, adapted by Emily Mann. Alternately funny and touching, 'The Cherry Orchard' follows Lyubov and her family in 1904 as the fate of their cash-poor estate and its beautiful orchard is uncertain. Colorful personalities and clashing ideals complicate matters, against a backdrop of social and economic transition that signals the end of the family’s way of life.
