Presentation and book signing by Scott Thoma at the Lyon County Museum on Wednesday, January 23. The event starts at 5:30 pm. Scott is the author of "Out of the Blue", available for sale at the event.
"Out of the Blue" is a true story about two sisters and their incredible survival of one of the most powerful tornadoes in Minnesota history. On June 13, 1968, the first F5 tornado ever recorded in Minnesota struck the town of Tracy around 7 pm. The F5 tornado with wind speeds in excess of 300 mph plowed throught the community of Tracy, took the lives of nine people, and injured over 150.
