Local Candidate Forum

Description

The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring  Local Candidate Forum where you'll have the opportunity to hear from candidates running for key positions in our community. This forum will feature candidates for the MPS School Board, Mayor, City Council, and County Commissioner. It’s a chance to learn about their platforms, ask important questions, and better understand their vision for the future of our schools, city, and county. This event is a crucial part of informed voting and community involvement, offering insights into the leaders who will shape our local policies and governance.

Candidate panels - 
6:00 - 6:45 MPS School Board
6:45 -7:30 Mayor & City Council 
7:30 -7:50 County Commissioner

It is expected that the program will be broadcast by KMHL AM 1400 (either live or on tape delay) and SMSU Media & Studio 1 TV. SMSU Media broadcasts at SMSU campus and in Marshall via two community access channels.
