Description
Each Wednesday in August, visit the Marshall Library for an afternoon showing of episodes of Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie.
Screenings will be held in the community room except for August 19, when it will be shown in the Children’s Library.
- Wednesday, August 5 – Episode 1: Independence & Episode 2: The House on the Prairie
- Wednesday, August 12 – Episode 3: News of the World & Episode 4: Life Let Us Cherish
- Wednesday, August 19 – Episode 5: A Circle of Blue Sky & Episode 6: Peace on Earth [in Children’s Library]
- Wednesday, August 26 – Episode 7: A Softer Note in the Sound of the Wind & Episode 8: This Is Now
Camp chairs, blankets, and snacks welcome! Light snacks will be provided. Episodes run approximately 50-55 minutes.

The classic novels have sold over 73 million copies in more than 100 countries, translated into at least 27 languages. Most recently, 50 years after the 1974 show first debuted, Nielsen reports that fans of all generations have embraced the nostalgic show garnering an astonishing 13.25 billion minutes of viewing in 2024 alone.
