Lyon County is accepting applications for a full-time Accountant II position. This position performs a variety of accounting functions to various departments of Lyon County. This work is performed under very general supervision and operates independently. Duties include, but are not limited to: create and maintain detailed financial records; ensure accurate data is prepared and provided; researches data, reviews and prepares reports. Minimum Qualifications: Two-year vocational/technical diploma, or Associate’s degree in Accounting and/or related field required; with a minimum of five years’ experience in related field. Preferred Qualifications: Four-year degree in Accounting or related field with three-five years of related experience. Full pay range: $27.53 – $38.52 with full benefits.
