At this event, we will honor individuals and businesses selected by you, our chamber members, with our annual awards. We’ll also recognize our outgoing board members and hear from Patrick Garofalo, President of Minnesota Grocers Association. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate our community!

Patrick Garofalo
Patrick Garofalo is a lifelong resident of Minnesota, born in St Paul and a graduate of Minnesota State University – Mankato.
During his 20 years of service in the Minnesota House of Representatives, Patrick also continued to work full time in the private sector as a network engineer.
During his time in the legislature he served as the Chairman of Committees with jurisdiction over education, economic development and energy policy.
He is a nationally recognized expert on energy policy, a leader on technology issues and has also been an outspoken advocate for the legalization of sports gambling in Minnesota.

Last year, Patrick was hired as President of the Minnesota Grocers Association, an over 125 year old organization that represents Minnesota’s food industry from farm to fork.
He currently lives in Lakeville with his wife Julie and their 2 puppies Shadow and Kira.
