Agrigrowth presenation
AgriBusiness luncheon featuring a presentation from Tamara Nelsen, Executive Director with Agrigrowth out of Saint Paul. Tamara will present on:
- Trade, trade agreements, recent trade announcements, importance of exports to MN ag and MN rural economy
- Farm policy (crop insurance, relationship to trade obligations, long tern trends in domestic farm policies around the world)
- Biotechnology or other production technologies (drones, autosteer, precision planting, etc.)
- Consumer issues (GM labeling, biotechnology, antibiotics, animal care)
- How MN AgriGrowth works with other associations and organizations to represent MN agrifood sector
