North Star Mutual Insurance Company is looking for an individual to assist in the underwriting of small to medium commercial accounts including property, general liability, and inland marine exposures. Daily tasks would involve underwriting of commercial policy endorsements/renewal policies, and inspection reviews through the use of
business analysis tools and loss control reports.
Individuals that possess strong communication and analytical skills, can work efficiently, and want to be a part of a team are encouraged to apply.
Preference will be given to those with insurance underwriting experience or its equivalent.
This is a full-time in-office position.
While a variety of factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skillset, level of education and/or experience will be taken into consideration, it is anticipated this position will start at $25.50 per hour. This role may be eligible for a merit increase at the 6-month mark and then annually thereafter and is eligible for our profit-sharing bonus plan.
Starting Range $25.50 to $27.50 per hour.
