We are looking for a Sr Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team in our Marshall, MN office. This role focuses on streamlining vendor transactions by improving EDI workflows, automating processes, and resolving invoicing issues through cross-functional collaboration. It also supports continuous improvement through data analysis, reporting, ERP updates, and accurate transaction processing.
- EDI Workflow & Issue Resolution: Manage parked, blocked, and unresolved items while improving EDI processes for smoother vendor transactions.
- Vendor Management & Automation: Streamline operations through EDI automation and uploads; resolve invoice issues, reduce duplicates, and improve First-Time Pass rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Vendors, Procurement, and AP to proactively address and correct processing inefficiencies.
- Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Investigate vendor invoicing issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution with business partners.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Support management reporting and use AP dashboards to identify trends, prioritize top vendor issues, and find new improvement opportunities.
- ERP & Transaction Processing: Maintain records, implement procedural updates in ERP, reconcile accounts, and process ACHs, wires, and drafts as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Years of Related Experience: Typically has at least 4-7 years related experience.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Advanced proficiency with numeric data analysis. Advanced ability in the accessing, entry of information into and retrieval of data from systems, such as SAP. The ability to read and comprehend written instructions. Advanced ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base compensation range for this position is $18.90 - $33.00 per hour. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
