Meet Minnesota author Naomi Yaeger and her husband, Terry Larson at the Marshall Library on Tuesday, August 11. Naomi will be discussing her book Blooming Hollyhocks: Tales of Joy During Hard Times, a narrative nonfiction book about her mother’s childhood in Murray County during the Great Depression and World War II. Between readings, history, and trivia, Terry will perform songs from the era on the banjo.
