A Springfield native and Southwest Minnesota State University graduate, Marty brings a wealth of firsthand experience in Minnesota government. He served seven terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives, including three years as House Minority Leader, and was a gubernatorial candidate in 2010 and 2014. Today, he works with Flaherty & Hood, P.A., a legal and government relations firm.

Drawing on his background in public service and government relations, Marty will share insights into Minnesota's political and election landscape, the role of elected officials, and how the election process connects to the issues that affect our communities.
