Radio & Social Media Content Creator
Marshall Radio is looking for a creative, outgoing and excited individual to join our team as our next Radio & Social Media Content Creator. Your day will consist of hosting radio shows and creating social media content for our five-station broadcast group including 1400 KMHL, 99-7 KARZ, KARL 105, 94-7 KKCK and 107-5 KNSG The Fan. In addition, you will help push our Marshall Radio brand and coordinate all our social media pages. Other responsibilities will include helping design promotions for our Big Deals store, creating images and content for our website marshallradio.net and creating excellent production of commercials. There may be some other fill in voice tracking of shows as needed on other stations or in other markets as well.

Responsibilities
  • Host a daily radio show (Monday-Friday)
  • Produce images and promotions for our website and social media pages
  • Produce and record promotions for Big Deals and for Marshall Radio
  • Manage our community events calendar
  • Produce and create engaging content for Marshall Radio events and promotions
  • Photograph at radio station events and promotions
  • Help create content for marshallradio.net
  • Record, produce ads as assigned by Marshall Radio’s account executives and management
  • Appear at radio station events
  • Occasionally board op as requested
  • Fill-in and host shows on other stations and markets as needed
Qualifications
  • A desire and an interest to work in the exciting field of broadcast media
  • At least 2 years of experience in the radio broadcast industry.
  • A strong background and understanding of social media marketing
  • Strong writing ability.
  • The ability to work with urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Personable. You must be able to work in a team atmosphere
  • You must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • And you must be creative.
