Sweetman Sanitation is proud to serve Marshall and the surrounding Lyon County communities with reliable, local waste and recycling solutions. In 2025, we expanded into Marshall by acquiring Waste Management’s residential and commercial accounts, giving us the opportunity to invest even further in southwest Minnesota. With a shop located right here in Marshall, our team is better positioned to provide responsive service to families, businesses, and rural residents who count on us every week.

Family-owned and operated, Sweetman Sanitation is run by Ray, Dominic, Shannon, and Jon Sweetman, along with a dedicated local team. Together, we bring decades of hands-on experience in the sanitation industry paired with a commitment to customer service that’s personal and community-focused. We live, raise our families, and believe that clean, well-serviced neighborhoods strengthen the communities we all share.
