SUMMARY:Women's Connect! Growing Forward: Goals That Fit Your Life
DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the February Women's Connect Event!\n\n \nThursday\, February 12th | 12:00pm to 1:00pm\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\nGrowing Forward is a women's lunch-hour gathering centered on intentional\, realistic goal setting that honors the natural crossover between work\, life\, and everything in between. This is a space to step back from expectations\, titles\, and timelines and focus on goals that feel aligned\, meaningful\, and sustainable.\n\nParticipants will begin creating a vision board that reflects both personal and professional aspirations recognizing that confidence at work affects life at home\, personal fulfillment fuels professional growth\, and balance looks different for everyone. There is no pressure to finish or finalize anything during the lunch hour. Instead\, this is the starting point for an evolving goal-setting process that continues well beyond the event.\n\nConnection is a key part of the experience. Each participant will be paired with an accountability partner to offer encouragement\, reflection\, and gentle check-ins as goals take shape. This support continues in the weeks following the event\, leading into March 24th\, International Day for Achievers a time to recognize progress\, perseverance\, and the wins that happen when goals are allowed to grow naturally.\n\nThis gathering is about setting goals that fit your whole life not just one role and giving yourself permission to adjust\, refine\, and celebrate along the way.\n\nStart with intention. Build with flexibility. Grow forward\n\n \n\n \n\n\nDr. Stacy Frost\n\n\n\nDr. Stacy Frost\, Adjunct Professor at Augsburg University\, will lead our conversation. Stacy earned degrees from Southwest Minnesota State University\, Augsburg University\, and St. Cloud State University. Her "growing forward" included newly created institutional roles aligned in hospitality\, ministry and higher education. This led to an ongoing curiosity\, and ultimately\, doctoral research\, focused on onboarding experiences in higher education. She is excited to share the meaningful goals which shaped her personally and professionally. Stacy and her husband\, Neil\, will soon be setting goals as empty nesters. They are proud parents of Landon and Salem.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Women's Connect\n \n\nAt Women's Connect\, we strive to develop an engaged\, focused network of professional women looking to support each other in achieving greater results through collaborative opportunities and professional recommendations! The Women's Connect group meets on the second Thursday of every month at rotating locations. Annual members\, Chamber members\, and non-Chamber members are all allowed to attend these events.
