DESCRIPTION:Our Annual Meeting and Dessert Social is on Thursday\, October 23\, 2014 in the Community Room at the Lyon County Museum.  Guests are welcome to tour the museum before the dessert social at 6:00pm.  The Annual Meeting & Dessert Sociat is open to the general public\; however\, only current LCHS members are eligible to vote for board member positions.\n\n\n\n6:00pm-6:30pm            Dessert Social (free will donation)\n\n6:30pm-7:00pm            Annual Meeting\n\n7:00pm -8:00pm           Guest Speaker: T.J. Malaskee \n\n"An historian of 19th century agrarian technology and agricultural movements and organizations\, T.J. Malaskee works for the Minnesota Historical Society at the Oliver H. Kelley Farm in Elk River and the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis.  He is also the President of the Oliver Hudson Kelley Grange\, No. 834 and sits on the State Grange of Minnesota Executive Committee."\n\n\n\nFollowing the Dessert Social\, the LCHS Annual Meeting wil begin.  The meeting includes a PowerPoint presentation depicting highlights of the year as well as upcoming events.  The meeting will conclude with president remarks\, finanical report\, voting of board member positions\, and quilt raffle kick-off.
