This presentation is for professionals\, caregivers\, friends\, family\, and community members interested in learning more about dementia.\n\n\n\n"Creating Moments of Joy" - 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. (2.0 CEUs)\n\nIn this presentation\, you'll be sure to see the vision. A vision that we will soon look beyond the challenges of Alzheimer's disease and focus more of our energy on creating moments of joy. It's impossible to create a perfectly wonderful day\, but you can create perfectly wonderful moments. Catch Jolene's energy and obtain fun\, simple ways to bring joy and hope into everyday.\n\n\n\nLunch - 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.\n\n\n\n"Family Moments" - 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m..\n\nFamilies have the knowledge to build a bridge between the care provider\, and the person with Alzheimer's. Families can share missing details\, create links to a person's mind\, and assist in giving back their greatness. This will educate families how to move\, what to move\, how to visit\, and what to expect. Helping families understand dementia and how to apply that knowledge.\n\n\n\nThe cost of the event is $10 for caregivers and community members which includes a meal. Professionals with CEUs the cost is $20 which also includes a meal. Please indicate any dietary restrictions. If cost is a factor in attending please contact A.C.E. of SW MN at 507-829-1143.\n\n\n\nRefunds will NOT be provided for any cancellations. We accept cash & check.
