DESCRIPTION:SMSU Update\n\n\nSouthwest Minnesota State University President Kumara Jayasuriya (Jie-uh-sur-ee-ua) will be the February speaker at the Women's Connect luncheon.\n\n\n\nPresident Jayasuriya has been the architect of a number of enrollment-building initiatives since his arrival\, including an increase in the number of online degrees offered\; the addition of club hockey\, the "best and the brightest" in southwest Minnesota\, attending SMSU\, all while creating an inclusive academic environment at the University to support all students in their quest for a college degree.\n\n\n\nJoin us this month to hear from SMSU President Jayasuriya on the new initiatives at SMSU\, and his goals for the university in the future.\n\n \n\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP by Tuesday\, February 11th.\n **Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the event\, you will still be responsible to pay your $10.**\n\n \nThanks to our Women's Connect Sponsors\, Schwan's Company and The Escape Spa!
