DESCRIPTION:This year's Hospice Benefit and Auction in Tyler is right around the corner taking place Friday\, April 25 at the Tyler Golf Club. This is the 30th year of this event raising dollars to support care delivered through Avera@Home Southwest Minnesota. The fun starts at 4:30 p.m. with the live auction beginning at 7 p.m. Enjoy a delicious meal including drip beef sandwiches\, salads and Lingen Dairy ice cream for dessert. Meals are $20 for adults and $10 for youth. To-go meals are available\, too. The online auction doesn't open for bids until April 24\, items are starting to be listed on the site now. Keep checking back as more items are added at https://qtego.us/qlink/tylerhospice Hospice care focuses on providing support and comfort to individuals with life-limiting illnesses. It aims to improve the quality of life for patients and their families by addressing physical\, emotional and spiritual needs. The goal of hospice is to help patients live as fully and comfortably as possible in their remaining time and to support their loved ones throughout the end-of-life journey. Dollars raised through this event will make a difference for patients and families receiving hospice care right here in our region. Funds can help in several ways   like patient care\, family support\, uncompensated care and comfort therapy services.
